BLACK HISTORY YEAR

We are kicking off our Black History Year Campaign. We will no longer accept the shortest and coldest month as our time to uplift Black ancestors. We will continue to celebrate Latina Heritage Month, Women’s Month, and other months. However, there is too much Black History to limit for 28 days. Let’s show that Black Lives Matter by learning Black History all year long!

Many Black and Indigenous youth simply can’t purchase our products because of the economic impacts of racism and white supremacy. When you sponsor a hoodie, you empower them to become a change agent. To date we have provided over 4,000 hoodies to under-served communities.

ART AS RESISTANCE.

We have invested in several young BIPOC artists to enhance their storytelling skills. Your support helps provide materials, professional development, art studio time, and allows the founders to provide more pro bono consulting. We are using art as a tool for young artists to find their voice.

HMH UNIVERSITY.

Humanize My Hoodie University is an online educational tool for concerned community members. We are revolutionaries using an Afrocentric pedagogy to inspire change. Our first offering, Humanize My Hoodie Ally Workshop, has empowered white allies to fight for racial equity in schools, corporations, and communities. To date, we’ve trained over 5,000 people. Our topics include Fashion Activism, Healthy Masculinity, Police and Prison Abolition, Effective Leadership amid Crises, Educators as Allies, and more.
